Just came across an awesome homage scene of the origin of Spiderman. It could have backfired without Sean Phillips awesome art. It's easy to recognize his "Peter Parker" because the art mimics Ditko's originals just enough, yet still blends in with Phillips's own style. Nice work.

Hurricane Sandy seems to have put me off on some odd tangents in my reading. I bought this book at Milford Library's ongoing book sale. It jumped out at me I'm not sure why. I found it had been signed by the husband and wife authors, who live in Westport. I stuffed it in my backpack and shortly after switched to a different one and totally forgot about the book.
