I'm annoyed. And it may be a hot take, but here's why. Not everything has to be "woke" or pushing for some sort of social justice... it's really alright to just tell a creepy story. These moments feel forced, and the way they're done makes me cringe. It's almost as cringey as the "elder millennial on Reddit" shtick in this book. Which I also hate.

I don't know if I can bring myself to read the "Boxes" section 😭.

This is so, so good.

I know the Reddit version of this and it's great, so I'm excited to see how the extended novel version is.
