Kinda slow, there are a lot of characters, it's kind of hard for me to get into. 😩

I never thought my little knowledge about Scandinavian black metal history would come in handy at a time like this.

I think all the one-star reviews are from people who probably just don't like folk horror. And this is FOLK HORROR.
Every time I read Adam Nevill, I can picture what he writes so vividly in my mind. Not a lot of authors can paint such a picture for me.
This is creepy and atomospheric and Blair Witch-y and good. I have high hopes for the full monster reveal. 😱
