Is this free therapy?

I shall say to you today that the true worth of a society is measured by the opportunities it offers it’s children.

Also, I’m sure I didn’t realize Despereaux saved himself like Scheherazade upon my first read.

Audiobook quality is atrocious.

I did not realize DVDs existed in 1999…

There’s only one way this author could become more vicious at this point. 😭

If anything happens to Grandma, I’ll buy my own copy of this book just so I can throw it out a window.

Jonas repeated it. “Love.” it was a word and concept new to him.

It’s like going downhill through deep snow on a sled.

I don’t have a clue how many years it has been since I read this (books 1-3) for the first time. I’m also unsure how the first book even landed in my hands (Academic team required reading? Connie Neathamer? I don’t think it was for class…) I had forgotten some of the language used. ‘Released’, for example. Also, ‘Thank you for your childhood.’ Chills.

And suddenly, the pants just magically return.

I’m honestly disgusted.

Waiting for the other shoe to drop. I’m having flashbacks to the John Green heyday.
