End of Book 2

Gathering Blue was published in 2000. I know the image in my head is not Lowry’s inspiration. Perhaps she was thinking about what was happening in the Balkans in the 90s. Or countless other tragedies and wars.

I had no idea that she had memories prior to her time in an orphanage. They left that part out of the ABC special, I guess.

The Defect is quickly becoming my favorite character.

It didn’t build tension to have to wait 5 days worth of book for the bodies to thaw. It built annoyance.
