In the formative years of Christianity, there were a lot of worshippers who were Jewish Christians known as Ebionites. They practiced both Judaism and Christianity. The Ebionites accepted Jesus Jesus as the Messiah, but in human guise in which the Hebrew Bible had prophesied he would appear - as 'Son of Man', which made the Ebonites Jesus human an corporeal and rejected the notion of Jesus divinity.
