Hopefully I'll finish this, but Nassim Taleb gets boring after a while. He's interesting but hypocritical.

Read the first book of Dune (Dune), which is great thus far. It's basically religious science fiction. There's also a lot of conditional probability. So begins Book 2: Muad'Dib

Skimmed it; I do probability for a living so there are some good examples to share with class. I'm excited for this one. My hard copy from the Virginia Tech library is the 1st edition from 1988 and only about 130 pages. This looks like a keeper, so I may by the "new edition" on Amazon.
