Hilarious

It's a bit out there, but somehow it still works. Some parts seem a bit unbelievable and convenient, but it works for a Hollywood story.

Interesting read so far. A lot of bouncing between POVs but it works out ok. A little distracting but managable.

Shit. I meant to say Disturbia not Suburbia. Oh yeah, and also Breakdown with Kurt Russell.

One helluva ride so far. Style-wise & storywise inc. the setting & characters reminiscent of Body Double, Blow Out (both by Brian De Palma) & Suburbia (I'm a fan of all 3!). Beyond that, the characters are interesting and been on the edge of my seat from page 1. A promising writer with the combination of good writing, a well-defined style and the kind of story I'm looking for when wanting to read a thriller.

This book reads like a good script, in a complimentary way. Surprised how much I'm digging it.

Am really enjoying this - only problem is I have just discovered it is part of a trilogy and there's something of a cliffhanger coming up - and our library doesn't have the follow ups!!!

This book has taken me a little longer to get through then others but it seems to be a good book so far.

I just couldn't read another Alice book in a row. Cleansing my palate.

So Charlie Hardie is in a bad situation and all he can say is, "You have very nice tit." That now, was LOL funny. Love this guy.

Learning about Charlie Hardie and the guy has a sense of humor. My friends know that I love that so we (me and Charlie) are off to a good start.

... and still enjoying. Though I'm slightly nervous that I've sorted the plot out.

And enjoying the read.

Delightful modern day quick reading trash in the spirit of Jim Thompson.

Had to add in something light in conjunction with the Bolano.

My copy has 283 pages, not 256.

A thriller, a comedy and a writing class, all in one.

I think I got the hang of this. This is genuinely fuckin' funny.

It's not your typical read, but it's definitively a lot of fun.

Wasn't too sure what to expect at first, but this is not bad at all so far.

I love this book! I can honestly say, I love all of Duane Swierczynski's books. He totally rocks. And now I guess that means I'm a pulp thriller fan.
