Status Updates From The Rats

Fun and grimy. Nothing revolutionary, but a I expected a book about mutant rats taking over a city and that's what I got.

Spoke way too soon cause the main character said something uncomfortable which according to google, they were 70s tropes, which is uncomfortably stupid. I can’t remember if King does it in this exact way.

There’s a feeling you get when you come across a good writer, and you just say “Please, please… please be as good as I hope.”

Prologue and first chapter absolutely spectacular. I get annoyed how simple it looks, but they aren’t all like this, and the styles are all different.
This feels like Richard Matheson, and I had an odd premonition it would, I hope it continues to be so.

Bloody. Gory. Gritty.
Set in London.
