Spoke way too soon cause the main character said something uncomfortable which according to google, they were 70s tropes, which is uncomfortably stupid. I can’t remember if King does it in this exact way.

There’s a feeling you get when you come across a good writer, and you just say “Please, please… please be as good as I hope.”
Prologue and first chapter absolutely spectacular. I get annoyed how simple it looks, but they aren’t all like this, and the styles are all different.
This feels like Richard Matheson, and I had an odd premonition it would, I hope it continues to be so.

Some comment about underage students
It full threw me off, with King he may say some weird stuff, but this was the protagonist (a teacher) to underage students. I can’t remember off the top of my head if King has done that
