I am very much enjoying this read - specifically the writing & characters names/personalities.

I feel as though if you name a rooster Chauntecleer, there will be high expectations for your book.

Jury’s still out on this odd-to-me tale, but here I am grieved by a rooster’s profound lament and comforted at the appearance of a dun cow 😅🤔
