This author keeps introducing information as an afterthought. It’s so jarring. Braxton being a virgin even after having a previous mate is just randomly brought up in conversation in passing. The fact that they can suddenly SIFT THROUGH EACH OTHERS THOUGHTS is mentioned all Willy nilly as an afterthought. wtf?? The star rating is steadily declining.

The writing in this book can be so weird and I can’t exactly place why. The plot is good though. I thoroughly enjoy the story, regardless of my gripe with the writing
