I am struggling to keep reading this book. I don't know why, but it's not grabbing my interest.

The story is starting off intriguing already. Looking forward to the story.

Best way to make sure Ashe doesn't feel like a giant bitch for not waiting forever to fall in love again? Badmouth the dead hubby! *headdesk* To be fair, it's not overt but there are little things said that make you think Dead Hubby wasn't so hot. I hate this freaking tactic in romances.

*sigh* What happened to this series? I loved Ravenous but I thought Scorched was mediocre & now I'm having a hard time getting into "Unchained". Ashe is as kickass as I remembered, but Reynard is so freaking boring. And emo. And probably a born-again virgin.

Starting to like Ashe more now!

alright, i'm a bit slow on this one and I admit... I really didn't like the heroine in Scorched, but she is growing on me..

I'd forgotten how much I enjoy this series.

1st half of the book, 5 stars, great mystery, great world building, great action, 2nd half- 3 stars- dragged on and on, wanted to get to the point.

So, this book is so much better than book 1 and 2. Ashe's relationship with Eden is very real. Her feelings as a widower, very real, her feeling for Reynard, very real. Even if you took all the paranormal elements out of the book, you would have a great story about a women struggling to make it with a teenager daughter.

Ok, for some reason I can't get a clear picture of what Captain Reynard looks like. I know he is tall, pale, long hair, and incredibly gorgeous but everytime I imagine him, I keep seeing the butler on the Adams family with long hair. Not the correct imagery. Please, someone who has read this book, help me out. Give me an actor that Captain Reynard might look like or I'll keep seeing the butler in my brain!

I love the way Ashwood writes. The details, especially when she talks about the castle are incredible. She would make a good straight epic fantasy writer. While her world building is fantastic, her character development is great too. Even though Ashe Carver was a minor character in bk1 and 2, I still remembered her for this book. That is pretty darn rare.

I remember why I like this series...very good (so far)

I can't go wrong here, can I, I read book 1 and 2 so I know what to expect.
