They didn't tell each other much, and yet understood each other so well. So many words could be exchanged between people without any real desire to know each other. But with the right person, one could speak much or not at all, and feel completely connected <3

I love a deep & thought-provoking read. There’s immense brutality and deep human tenderness at the same time. Shared humanity persists, even when everything else is being torn apart.
