God, I hate 'the Russians' as the badies and the glorious US as credible world leaders. I am soooo over US self aggrandisation, they lost the right to world leadership many years ago. But what should I have expected from a book dedicated to the 'heroes of the Cold War' . Already annoyed, this is way too black and white.

it occurred to me im reading these books out of order. In any case, this books falling flat. New characters entering about 70 percent of the way through this book is confusing. I feel bored.
