Ch. 20 - 25: So, the murderer was MISS GILCHRIST. She had planned it due to a painting that Cora had bought that turned out to be unknowingly by Vermeer that could be sold for 5000 pounds and she would then use the money to open a cafe she had always wanted. She drugged Cora and pretended to be her at the funeral and since only 3 people at the funeral knew Cora well, it worked perfectly for her.

Ch. 19: and mentioned how during the war, men dressed up as nuns. And Rosamund knew Poirot was a detective.
I’m not sure who had a mustache but if that was the case, it could’ve the men then, but that would’ve been too easy. I think it is done by a couple as the wife and husband dynamic seems to be stressed in thus story

Ch. 19: Aside from the fight for the spode dessert service and the table, how timothy and george fought and said things to rile the others up, especially timothy, Miss Gilchrist revealed that she thought the nun she saw at Timothy’s was the same as the one from Lychett, she doubted as the purposes for visit differed. Though she mentioned how the upper lip looked like it had a mustache

Ch. 15 - 18: The family gathering was happening and Poirot tried to pay attention to them and had a conversation with them. He mentioned how everyone might be able to murder, then he talked with Susan, saying he saw her (but didn’t say it was at Lychett) and failing to talk with Gregory, and noticing how ruthless she was. He also talked with Miss Gilchrist and she mentioned she was frazzled after talking to the nun

Ch. 5 - 10: that Richard had talked of setting a trap but unsure for whom. He talked to Helen and there were 2 non-private buyers and Helen seemed weird when it was mentioned that Hercule Poirot would be coming to the house. She mentioned that something or someone was amissed but she couldn't remember exactly. Susan went to Cora's house where Miss Gilchrist was still staying for the inquest,

Ch. 5 - 10: But if they found Cora's murderer, they could find Richard's as the deaths were more likely connected. Then he met Dr. Larraby and this basically confirmed that it might have been hard to know that Richard had been poisoned, though somewhat possible. At Enderby, he talked with the old butler, he gave nothing other than what Entwhistle had known, said that RIchard mentioned Timothy and possible Cora,

Ch. 5 - 10: about the nephew and nieces; kept mentioning how upset and hurt he was about the will. Entered Poirot, and Entwhistle explained the case and what he knew so far; Richard was cremated, so even if he had been murdered, it wouldn't have been detected and proven and also 2 doctors signed the certificated; Entwhistle believed Cora's statement of Richard being murdered.
