I’m enjoying the unadorned, deliberate prose very much.

I’m not complaining that the main character is unlikable, I know that’s the point, but I think the lack of character arc frustrates me. like girl have you learned nothing? I don’t see that changing in the final 40 pages of this book, but we’ll see

i don’t think this is for me but i’m gonna keep reading and hope that the second half is more impactful
