Le fait qu’un homme se batte pour sa protégée dans tout ce merdier politique et ce, sans arrières pensées ( no schemes, no shit ) c’est trop cool !

Reread! Now that I have read a lot more of Bujold's books I am curious to see how this holds up.

I don’t really the remember the last time I gave a DNF or a bad review.
This book was always lumped in with similar ones I enjoyed. The characters, setting, politics, etc were all fantastic. I just feel like someone along the line would have pointed out how the 35 year old main character continues to sexualize (and then get a kick out himself for doing so) the teenage girls he’s is tutoring.
