حتى هذه النقطة، أكثر ما شدّني هو شعور العجز أمام قاتل يبدو وكأنه يسبق الجميع بخطوة. أعجبني هدوء بوارو وطريقته في التفكير، فهو لا يندفع وراء الأدلة الظاهرة، بل يحاول فهم عقل القاتل أولًا. الإيقاع يزداد تشويقًا تدريجيًا، وأشعر أن أغاثا كريستي تخبئ الكثير خلف التفاصيل الصغيرة. متحمس لمعرفة إلى أين سيقود هذا اللغز.
