I am deeply un nostalgic; I hate remakes, reminiscing about tv shows or media from the past, I usually hate a movie adaptation, the grounds of my childhood are dead and gone, and I can tell this book is going to validate me and enable me to be the most annoying bitch ever about this

Ta książka zapowiadała się dobrze do momentu "liberalnych komunistów" — jak to wielu amerykańskich lewicowców autor trochę odleciał...

i'm a little over halfway through, and:

1. i know he's a phd in literature and philosophy but he's dunking on me with words I've never seen in my life
2. it seems everything went to shit in the mid seventies-ish on
3. i don't have the lore on everything. i feel like there was required reading but im fighting for my life 🫡
