After the way he just talked to her, saying she was the inferior sex, I can't think of a single reason she should still help him. Through he's probably right about no one else giving her the same opportunity but I'm not sure it's worth it. He's not who she thought he was & he's sketchy.

How does being his secretary, I'm sorry, assistant, in his office in London have to do with his expedition? He said that he found a place for her on his staff for the expedition! I don't think that's what she had in mind.

Doesn't Felicity find it suspicious that Platt suddenly has a place for her on his expedition? Or that he's referring to his Fiancee as Miss Hoffman & saying that the expedition won't go on without her? She even noticed that Johanna looked as if she wanted to run the night before & now she has, so MAYBE she SHOULDN'T be telling Platt where she thinks she's going! You're supposed to be smart, so act like it!

If Johanna doesn't want to get married, then Felicity shouldn't tell anyone she left, because they'll likely just drag her back & she should understand better than most what it feels like to have other people trying to control your life.

I also can't help but feel bad that she's making it so obvious that she's not really there for her friend & it seems like Dr. Platt doesn't genuinely care for the bride to be either.
