Status Updates From The Haunting of Quist House...

Ok, WTF... Yes, it did manage to surprise me with the target. But its completely out of left field.
The author can likely justify or explain it in the last 20%, but honestly I no longer care.

Well... didnt quite expect the revelation about the girl... but at least the true target was obvious.

Sigh... Another instance of secrets screwing everything up.
And more sneering.
And at least someone should have recognized the child's obvious lie...
I certainly hope I finish this book soon.

I'm going to do a word count after finishing (if I remember) to see how many times the author said someone "sneered".

Also, while I understand needing someone with an emergency override, wouldn't it make more sense to simply have a time lock?
