This is probably the most tame set up in the entire series but I like it the best. Maybe because my expectations are low.

I find it hard to believe this repressed, proper hero had an elicit same sex affair with his brother in law. He won’t even kiss her and doesn’t believe in dalliances. Was this shoe horned in to check a pansexual box?
He can be pansexual and repressed by not acting on anything with either gender.
