There's a lot of information for me to process from the chapters that I read today.

Bea just experienced affection from a mother and it wasn't even her own mother. Yeesh! 😯😶

I'm glad that Bea communicated with Franco when it was necessary, especially since he and Irene were so kind to her. It's clear that Bea felt gracious about their kindness and hospitality. 🙂

It's good that Bea is even *thinking* and daydreaming about college, considering her formerly shitty circumstances.

I don't understand why she referred to herself as a "Manson girl". That confused me. I'm guessing it might be because she's a runaway. 🤔

There will come a time, soon, when I am going to have to throw my words at her. Because that, more than any silence, is what she should be carrying with her right now.

That's a powerful idea and an excellent point.

Ezra's mother has been permissive of Darren's god awful and violent behavior. 😢😡 Hopefully Ezra will give her an earful eventually.
