Harper desires to keep a low profile as long as possible when she goes to London, so as to stay off the local vampires radar. So the first thing she does is go & rough up the financial managers assistant at their place of business. Yeah, that makes sense...not.

I'm torn between really liking it and being confused. Let's see how it ends.

Off to a slow start.

Enjoying the read ... And now there is mention of making a man of clay. Suddenly the golem is a character and the novel becomes research. Lucky me!

I watched a very disturbing episode of some British show which completely ruined these few days for me (and a few future ones probably), but I won't let the crappy ideas ruin the rating of this story.

Ok, this has been fun, but I'm getting a bit tired of the vampires in London thing and I want more Quinton...

Creepy!

So like... Wow! The author didn't even do enough fact checking to know that the god Anubis doesn't eat the souls of the dead. That's ... rather lazy. Incredibly lazy.

And you know what? I'm forced to wonder why every mythical creature with any power is always incredibly angry.

How the fuck can this author be SO COMPLETELY terrible at dialog? Every time one of her characters opens her mouth it's like a vile fountain of cliches and terrible dialog. I don't know why the people in this world haven't just banned talking altogether. I know I would, if I lived there.

rereading to refresh the memory before I start #5 (per hubby's recommendation!)

This book is collecting an incredible number of plot fails and continuity fails.

Sigh. And yet another Chosen Uber-special heroine whose entire life has been manipulated by the Big Bads. That plot device always bothers me, since the Big Bads are simultaneously omnipotent and somehow unable to control or protect themselves from our protagonist. They make elaborate plans that require far too many concatenations of circumstance, but despite this amazing foresight, they are trivially beaten?

Much better pacing so far than in previous books; characterization still pretty one-dimensional.

Woo, we learn stuff in this book!

The London portion of this story started off slow, but got much more interesting...

Much darker so far than the previous books. Need to put it down from time to time because of the darkness. Still want to proceed though...

on my forth book of the Greywalker series by Kat Richardson, I do enjoy them they are based out of Seattle so It is fun to read about the area, and know what she is talking about..

Whoa. Kat Richardson really learned how to write a story. I'm so happy I could cry, haha.

Quinton was having a geek moment, that sort of glazed-eyed mental gymnastics session that ended with the discovery of penicillin. LMAO
