The issue is that the miller is in fact being sexist and archaic and it's completely fine to point that out in literary critique but ANNOYING to include in the story

It's made particularly evident by his rewrite of The Three Little Pigs where he didn't even have to change the message to make it "politically correct" so he just wrote a story as it already existed but now it's more annoying

The problem with conservative satire (which is what this is) is that it's just Annoying

Like why is he emphasizing that the grandma wasn't sick?
