I went into Blink filled with interest but it quickly devolved into contradictory stories. The suggestion that initial flash responses are useful is pitted against other examples where first impressions are largely useless. This is a book that, free from my literary stubbornness, I would have set down well before finishing. Unless you’re really
into pop-science, I’d give it a pass.
