got this book as a christmas gift by someone who knows that i love dogs and coffee LOL. i knew nothing about the book going in but it’s honestly so cute and a really light read. something nice to ease into the year with. trying to switch gears and get away from the romance genre for a bit but this hasn’t been as disgustingly cringe as our friend mrs hoover

dnf-ing for now and will probably finish next year

the conflict being solely dramatic irony this far into the book is crazy work

can’t believe this was such a huge drop from the first book

I'm bored. And Truck is a terribly behaved dog. Learn to train your dog better so he's not knocking people over everywhere he goes. I have an 80 pound pitbull and he knows better than to jump up on people or chew furniture.

I wish people would stop romanticising dogs that have not been well trained and their owners responsible for said lack of training...

What a fun book so far! I picked it because of
the title but really love how the story is developing! Funny and engaging. Could totally be Rom/Com movie.

The main characters are still incredibly boring, but I will admit some sections at this point in the book have a very cozy feel. I also just noticed that my copy just so happens to be signed by the author, which is pretty cool.

Also, homelessness is not a fun or easy topic. I kind of get what the author was going for but I wish her editor had pushed her to rewrite that paragraph.

These two characters are so vanilla yall, I am crying at how bad it is right now. Omg this does not bode well for this book right now

So this book officially stars two of the STUPIDEST protagonists I've ever seen. They get their phones swapped and NEITHER have any sort of password or biometric lock on it because its "too inconvenient" and then are just somehow okay with using each others phones for like a week. Like, what? I would have an aneurysm and cancel all my cards wtf

I had a hard time pushing my way through the beginning, but the story line has started to pick up. I feel like I’m just reading a ton of details and not a whole lot of passion or excitement. Hopeful the second half is more promising.

This reminds me a lot of Last Chance Books.
