I actually can’t breathe. What was once a cute and whimsical read has taken a turn and I’m in agony - if you know the part of The Little Women where Amy burns Jo’s manuscript, this is like it but worse, and my heart is CRYING. UGHHH I SHOULD BE STUDYING

I love how Lu writes fantasy. It feels so vivid but still a bit abstract, and there’s also a poetry to it too. Good stuff

Marie Lu is phenomenal at writing stories that just suck you in. Kinda loving this so far omg
