Status Updates From The Authenticity Project

I am definitely enjoying the second half of this book more than the first half.

So far—best book I’ve read all year. Don’t want to read cause I don’t want it to end but can’t help myself. Love it !!

Monica is being super judgmental, constantly, and it’s getting under my skin.

I really like the different POVs in this

Monica- ex corporate lawyer who owns a café. Mom died.

Julian- old man who used to be an artist. Wife died and he started the authenticity project.

Hazard- a alcoholic/ druggy who parties and is a jerk. Hates himself?

This book definitely makes you think deeply about how your life appears to others on the outside vs. the reality of the life you are living.

She manages to have given each character a real sense of being, and I’ve identified myself as a bit of each one but mostly as Monica.

This book makes me want to go to my local bookstore and leave notes in all of my favorite books telling the stranger who picks it up that they have great taste and we should be friends. 🙃

Unikali knygos idėja!

Historia con algún que otro cliché (mujer triste porque sigue soltera y sin bebés) pero que el mismo personaje víctima del cliché anuncie que vive en uno es un punto favorable. Unas páginas atrás tuve pavor al pensar en qué tipo de lectura me había metido, ahora parece que hay algo de esperanza,veremos... Por cierto parece que han dejado de beber, pero la palabra vino sigue repitiéndose....

I’m loving this book and the characters. how they are helping each other and in a way becoming a family of sorts. You can’t help but feel part of the adventure.

I feel so SO BETRAYED

And please, I’m simping over Hazard x Monica. I’m truly sorry Riley. Idk why I they’ve much more chemistry

Btw I ran out my tabs of characters’ backstory and characters’ dynamic.

In a way, this book is an eye opening to me 🥺

Charming so far!

The idea for this book is great...I love it, but the storyline of it is surprisingly not that intriguing at least not yet. It’s taking me a bit longer than I thought I would to read it

Since the book is in different point of view of characters (so far four), I can’t help myself tabbed the characters’ insight towards one another.

I love to see how people reflected from other’s perspective, it’s such a wholesome feeling.

Also, this book definitely conclude my guy’s type *YES I AM TALKING ABOUT YOU, HAZARD 👀* Sigh, bad boysszzz 😌✊🏻
