I’m just not feeling invested yet. Probably I haven’t given it enough time/pages. But I’m far more interested in picking up the Catherine the Great biography I’m also reading. So I think I’ll finish that one and then perhaps return to this.

Ahhh! It’s so good.

my faith in humanity needs restoring apparently so what better way to do that than to read an uplifting book

Ok this book a bit lame tbh.

I think this is the first book I've ever read where I've actually actively enjoyed the use of multiple POVs! (In 'The Power' it was pretty good too, but that book felt like it had one or perhaps two too many.)

It's also the first & only book from my "at work reading" list that I plan on actually adding to my shelves when I'm done with it. Can definitely see myself wanting to re-read it one day. :)

I had to stop torturing myself with this book... I got half way but I can’t finish it. I found it completely tedious 🙈

Novel·la estil feel good

unable to get into this very average story, it’s pretty meh, the characters aren’t interesting, and I’m seriously considering DNFing it

Okay, so I may not dislike Alice as much as I did a few chapters ago. She’s still not my favorite character though. Monica is pulling a Monica (FRIENDS reference). I hope to finish the book today. To be honest, I got distracted finishing another book first, but we will talk about that when I do a review of the other book.

Not really getting into this book. Hopefully it’ll pick up.

I got the audiobook and decided to start again from scratch.

I hope to like Alice in later chapters. She is going through a lot and yet I don’t feel for her. Hazard is an arse, but I like where his story is going. Maybe it’s the social media angle I can’t get behind.

It's a good book, rather charming and sweet but it's also kind of slow for my taste. I do like how real and gritty the characters are.
