LOVING IT so far! It makes your heart smile.

A gorgeously light, uplifting read that is making me giggle.

Although this was praised a lot, I didn't go in with a lot of expectations. But I find this to be such a joyful read. Its a perfect book to read when you want to relax. The host of characters are unique and then not so much in their ways but are absolutely endearing. The setting is beautiful. There's a scene on an ice skating rink which reminded me of one of my all-time favourite movies - Serendipity. ☺️

Relatable max. Started this on a whim. But the way I am highlighting the lines. The self-deprecating humor is comforting yet like truth bombs.

Ohhh! I started this at Christmas (a gift from my sister!) and life got busy, pregnancy, work, life & gym took over. I shelved it & just reopened... I wish I had sooner! It’s a PERFECT summer read so far, though!!

This book is very cute. It’s a salve to my soul after so many heavy reads. 😆

Would love to know more about Alice. I feel so sorry for her being a new mum, feeling like she has to put a front on and pretence when people would probably love her for telling them what it’s really like as a first time mum. Julian is my favourite character so far & I wish we could know more about Benji and his background

The way Monica cleaned Julians house to recreate the scents of Mary was heartwarming xx

Monica is so fcking unpleasant

the start of this one is REALLY slow. I’m trying hard to stay with it, hoping it gets a bit better. I like the concept of the story, but right now everything is kinda flat.
