She really did it. Santos must be losing her mind. But honestly, considering the things that Cruz has done and then the guys keeping something like that from her, I'm not surprised she lost it enough to run off. Plus there's that whole noble protection part of it that she feels she's doing. That move never works out, so I don't know why these heroines are always doing it.

She's going to pull that whole "run away to protect everyone from the danger that's after me" move that heroines in paranormal romance and urban fantasy always seem to pull that frustrates me to no end.

Cruz really seems to be having some feelings for Adelita. I'm still not sure if this will be reverse harem or if Adelita will be with just Santos and spark the desire in Rafi and Cruz to find their own women. Those two seem to have feelings for her and she definitely feels things towards them, although dealing with Cruz is a struggle for her.

I just love how much Santos loves Adelita. And this woman is so stubborn, but she did just free several people from curses and they will never even know she did it despite how much pain she was in while doing it.

Adelita is determined to remove the axes from the curse tree despite that she is in no shape to be doing so. Poor Santos can't handle seeing her in pain and when Cruz steps up to brace her so she doesn't fall over, he thinks Cruz always knows what to do. No, Santos, that guy really doesn't always know what to do. He's the worst at dealing with people and with Adelita in particular.

Adelita just gave Santos some serious incentive to get this giant snake killed quickly.

I'm glad she told Santos what happened with Cruz. He understands now why she pulled away so hard. I really like that Santos is never bothered by all the kissing and snuggling she does with Cruz and Rafi (except for that stunt Cruz pulled). I just love Santos because he's so free with letting Adelita see how much he wants and needs her.

Adelita is breaking Santos's heart right now. After that stunt Cruz pulled, I see why she wants to leave. It doesn't help that she's still beating herself up over how much pain was caused when she healed Santos and Rafi.

So we finally know the full story of La Sayona and Adelita offers to help Cruz despite his being a total asshole. And now, apparently Adelita's kiss can heal the guys' scars, but causes some serious pain while it is happening.

Eva is a cool chick. She's already making Adelita feel welcome in the village. Cruz's dad seems like a good man, too. I wonder how others will react to a new outsider in their village. And how long Adelita will hold on to the thought that one day, she'll no longer be hunted and she can go back to her life, though there wasn't much of a life that she ended up leaving behind. She's very stubborn about it, though.

Yes, Rafi, talk some sense into Cruz. Make him understand that part of the reason Santos cannot stand to have Adelita out of his sight is because twice the one to hurt Adelita was Cruz himself. I get that the second time he really wanted to help her learn how to defend herself, but he pushed it too hard and terrified Santos on her behalf.

Cruz is such a sourpuss. Though he does seem to be protesting too much. He likes Adelita, but always talks himself out of feeling any softer emotions. And apparently, he's a prince. Go figure.

Honestly, the people in the Caceres tribe seem like cowardly snobs. They may not all be like that, but just from the fact that they live behind a wall and treat people that have been tortured and/or enslaved by the Kalku like they're evil by association, I don't expect to like very many of them. I doubt all of them are so bad, but I guess I shall see now that Adelita has been brought into the village.

I want to know more about this La Sayona's curse. Seriously, what is going on with that?
