I have had this on my shelf since 2020 and now I will finally read it

glad to say I learned something!!! defining racism was actually very valuable for me since I was approaching it with more emotion towards the person than the system itself: to plant that seed for information is important and my definition of racism has shifted because the way the author described is was brilliant. it is a system I should be unsatisfied with, not the result.

I'd like to be more well-spoken regarding topics about race, gender, equity, and politics-- I'm loud spoken, which is half the battle, but the moment I have something to say I get overwhelmed and don't get my point across as clearly as I like. Reading is, in fact, political: life is a cabaret y'all, educate yourselves.
