Status Updates From C-26

What I said about reading Sky's boring descriptions of her day & vagueness about them dating... I'd like to go back to those, please... The sex scenes are so much worse. No steam, just cringe.

"Now that the reality was staring him in the face he hoped to push her boundaries. His fantasies sat at the cusp of reality, and he eagerly awaited their realization with bated breath."
-> This is just one example of the writing.
It went from Sky talking about nothing/how they're dating (no additional info) to Dash POV & talk about his peeny/how he wants to push boundaries when they have sex for the first time.

This romance book so far has no romance.
Time passes without any indication how long has it actually been.
Heroine is already so in love yet we haven't see her interact with the hero at all, we don't get to experience them actually dating, we're just told they are. For how long, no clue.
Hero is supposed to be this romantic, yet we don't get to see him be romantic. SHOW & TELL us, good God. *buys a screaming vase*

Dash's band starting their concert like:

Dash cut off his long hair & trimmed his beard, I get it.
He doesn't look like he did before that, I get it.
The heroine doesn't realize he's this famous musician, I get it.
No need to repeat all that THREE TIMES in the same damn chapter and a few more times in the previous ones as well. *cries*

Not the biggest fan of the third person storytelling or how repetitive the thoughts are so far.
The hero is walking the line with how he is describing the heroine.

One thing that pisses me off in a book is the narrative style the author chooses to tell the story. I really like being in the character. Like being in their mind in the present. That being said this book isn’t in the first person. This book is Third person point of view, omniscient so that makes me the reader kind of listening to the story being told. Let’s see if I can continue...
