Love and time. Always hoped for, never promised.

Somewhere in the darkest corners of our mind, who we are, who we were, and even who we could be, lies tangled in a beautiful web.

Past collides with the present.

A mirage of memories, overlapping with dreams.

The space in between. Emptiness full of hope.

Where true love survives the unthinkable, the unsinkable and the unimaginabl

Phenomenal, breathtaking, awe-inspiring are only a few of the many ways to describe C-26! DD Lorenzo has written an emotional story that spans two lifetimes and the love that transcends them. For anyone who believes in love and soulmates, I highly recommend reading C-26. True love never dies—you take it with you.

Gut wrenching, heartbreaking and amazing. Endless love with soul mates that will capture your heart.

As I write my review and try to gather my thoughts the remnants of my tears are slowly drying on my cheeks. I can’t remember the last time a book has affected me this much; days later this book was still with me.

I'm sad that this didn't work for me. I was super excited about this book.
I do believe this can be a winner and an amazing story for a lot of other people.

Unfortunately this style of storytelling is not for me. The author skips a lot of their relationship. We are at 1st date and next page they've been together months. Forwarding months goes on the entire book so it was really hard for me to believe they'd fallen in love. I'm being told they are madly in love and I'm supposed to just go with it

C-26 was my first book by D.D. Lorenzo, and it was a book I chose to read based solely on its cover. I'm a sucker for beautiful covers, and this one is GORGEOUS!

It's always fascinating to read a book that involves reincarnation and soulmate stories, to see how the author is going to deal with the topic is what intrigues me the most. Unfortunately, this book was not the right choice for me.

From the first page, I knew this was going to be a book I would not forget. And before the prologue was over, I was reaching for my crying towel. Skylar and Dash instantly connect when they bump into each other at an airport and from there the story takes off. As the story goes on, I began to understand the prologue more and more. True love is timeless and watching the story unfold as I read, brought up emotions I usually reserve for books that will stay with me for a very long time. I can't eve ...more

By the time I made it through the prologue, tears were in my eyes. Gut-wrenching, heartbreaking, and soul-cleaving, the love Izzy and Abigail shared makes you believe love can transcend mere mortal bonds. I was sold at the end of the prologue. As for the rest of the story, it packs a punch. Your emotions are not safe, and they will be put through the wringer. If you're strong enough to begin this journey, you'll believe in the timeless nature of love. DeeDee Lorenzo crafts a beautiful story that ...more

This was not for me.
It did not read like a modern romance; the phrase "turgid member" was used and I just can't deal with that without snort-laughing.
The pacing of this was odd. So many scenes and so much of the relationship were skipped over and I don't understand why the author chose certain scenes to spotlight and then skip ahead months. We see a first date, then on the next page they've been together months; we don't get to see the relationship build and that really makes it difficult to c

You come across a book every once in a while that makes you take stock of the good things in your life and it proves to you that things can change in an instant. Sky and Dash met in an airport and instantly they felt a connection that neither of them understood. Friendship quickly turned into so much more and when tragedy strikes and their time together takes a path neither of them saw coming, the relationship it put to the test. Do you believe in the afterlife? Can you come back and find true l ...more

The significance of C-26 is far beyond must be experienced

From the moment I read the first few passages I knew in my heart this story would consume my thoughts and emotions. DD Lorenzo writes a story of love so deep that transcends time and loss so significant and profound that can never be measured.

Izzy and Abigail loved each other so fully and deeply they were destined to be together forever...

Years later, Skylar (Sky) and Dash were meant to be together as well and there was someth

5 star Review C-26 by DD Lorenzo

I have read several books by D.D. Lorenzo and as I have come to expect, C-26 was an extremely well written, highly emotional story that drew me in and had me totally invested.

I was in tears numerous times reading this book as it was so emotional and really pulled at my heartstrings so you have been warned, be prepared.

**May contain spoilers! It’s hard to write my impression of this fantastic story without pointing out specific parts. I whole-heartedly encourage devoted romantics to read this!**

What a hauntingly, beautiful, love story.

As I started to read the Prologue, I was immediately hooked into the commitment of Izzy and Abby talking about their love for one another as they waited. It was then I realized that they waited for death, so calmly, and I thought, oh, no! They aren’t ready. I was sad but intrigu

D.D. Lorenzo’s C-26 is one of those books that simply wasn’t for me. The reason for this is very easy to understand – I’m extremely picky when it comes to reincarnation and soulmate stories. I always love the idea, but I very rarely fall for the stories as deeply as I would have liked.

This was certainly a story with plenty packed into it, details that leave you curious to see how the elements come together, but I never felt the connection between the characters. They seemed to fall for each othe

I got this ARC for an honest review. Well, if I could give 6 or 7 stars maybe even 10 I would .
This story takes you in from the beginning and is emotional. It is about forever love in a way you don’t expect. It’s raw and honest and I am sure it will touch your heart. This book is going to stay with me for a while. The tears were there . Thank you D.D. I loved it.

Well then, give me a sec to take a deep breath. You'll need to do the same. A few times. With tissues. This one packs a punch. I read the first chapter and immediately knew this was going to grab my emotions, pull them out, twist them a few times so you didn't know if you should laugh or cry, and then comfort you like a warm hug. Dash and Sky are on a journey to each other and with each other. You come out of this believing in a love that is timeless, but you also want to punch it a few times, o ...more

The first scene will rip your heart out, and frankly the tears don’t really get a chance to dry through the rest of the book. This isn’t a light, entertaining read; it’s a heartfelt, emotional, gut-wrenching exploration of love, parting, death, soulmates, and, ultimately, hope. It wasn’t a particularly easy book to read, and it is not an easy book to review. It’s one to read when you have at least a box of tissues on hand, something warm to drink, and a need for some reassurance about the never- ...more

I was crying before the first chapter. I’ve had a few experiences where an author can take me out of this world and into the one on the page. However, This one was raw, emotional filled with love that is beyond our comprehension. If I could this Author D. D. Lorenzo would be a 10 gold stars! This book broke my heart and filled it with love at the same time. It was hard for me to shake off the remnants of reading this beautiful story and coming back to real life. Wow, just wow. I am not one of those people who gets book hangovers or thinks about a book for some time after reading it (for the most part). But C-26? It is definitely a book that stays with you. The prologue sucks you in and shreds you. Beautiful and gut wrenching all at once. Then the rest of book...... such a beautiful story. This book is one of the best reads ever. So emotional, have your tissues handy. A tale of beauty, love, heartbreak. This is one book you don’t want to miss. I absolute ...more

Wow!!! Absolutely loved it!!
Dash is a Rockstar. Skylar is an author. They met at an airport. Their flight flew out from Gate C-26.
Izzzy and Abigail were on a ship and stayed in Cabin 26.
How do lives intertwine with each other from past to present? Izzy swears to Abigail that he will find her again. How does Dash and Skylar fit into this?
This is a beautiful love story.

"C-26" by D.D. Lorenzo is a book I was quite excited to dive in ever since first reading the blurb. That gorgeous cover also caught my eye, not gonna lie.
This is where anything positive I can possibly say about this book ends.

I went in expecting a heartfelt, true romance story about soulmates that meet again in another life. The quote at the beginning of the book supported that impression. The Prologue just doesn't belong together with the rest of this book, it set up such a good pr

It was an interesting and intriguing story. Showing that love defies time and space and no matter how your soulmate would find you.
Get your box of tissue ready because you would need it or a glass or wine, probably both.

I found this approach interesting and how the author paid attention to details throughout the story. I guess that is what I appreciated the most.

The rating is a 3.75 stars. Such a sweet book! The first chapter really knocks you out. It’s such a sad story about love dying. Reminded me a bit of Titanic because of the boat sinking but in this version both lovers die to be reborn at a later life.
I had a hard time with this book in a good way. It was so sad. Too sad. To finally find the love of your life to have him ripped from you slowly with a disease is horrible. These two had such a short time together to be brutally destroyed by Alzheim

It was beautiful, heartbreaking, captivating and let's you know that you never know what the future holds and how quickly lives can intersect. This was my first book by D.D. Lorenzo. This is Skylar and Dash´s epic love story. Skylar is a writer and Dash is part of a famous rock band. They met at the airport and since that day Dash knew that she was the one for him.

I loved all about their story, how their relationship went from friends to lovers, how perfect they were together. But most important that they never gave up on each other.

This is a story of fate, love and marriage. I recommend C-26 to anyone that enjoy an epic love story.
