I thought I was going to be super bored with this book but I am actually really liking it. It's making me think a lot about when I had to start my life over after being in a relationship for 8 years. Scary but so much better

Writing was okay but I wasn’t into this cliche storyline and I expected more about the sister relationship based on the description.

The book is good. Goes back and forth between the two sisters lives. Adele is in search of a job through a reentry program. Justine is beginning the process of her divorce with Scott.

Not really my cup of tea 🤷🏻‍♀️ Kind of slow and not much is happening.

Okay I’m kind of cheating. Started reading the physical copy but now I’ve switched over to the audiobook which is arguably a little more interesting 🤷🏻‍♀️

I love books with local settings so I'm enjoying the places in Half Moon Bay, San Jose (!!), and Carmel. The story is a bit slow but it's an easy read.

This book was mostly tiresome, repetitive almost with the details of divorce and a crazy person taking advantage of a young college student. The way Justine spoke was too lawyerly for me. I liked Adele enough to keep reading, I guess.

Great read so far, listening to the audio book.

I didn’t finish this book it just was not a book for me it was a slow start to the book and on top of that it is not the book that I thought it would be.

I really enjoyed this book, the characters, the storyline, and the setting. A quick and entertaining read with depth. Recommended for a good summer read.

I don’t connect motherhood with Adele .. but she was a mother for a short time .. but sadly the baby was stillborn.
But two times i had the impression that the names were wrong in this epilogue.
I wonder if anyone else had this problem also ....

I'm enjoying this book! I'm really connecting with the main characters. I love that about Robyn's books I always tend to connect so easily with her characters!

I'm loving the turn of events in this Robyn Carr novel. WOW!!

Audio book for laying outside :)

A sad tale of two sisters in a lifetime dynamic of miscommunication, assumptions, and drama until a series of events unfolds to reshape lives. A little drawn out and I’m not sure why I can’t put it down, I did stick it out until the end.
