This book is giving me whiplash. Every time I think the plot is progressing or I've figured out which direction the book is headed, something stalls or changes and I'm thrown again.

While I absolutely appreciate what this book is doing for the trans community and POC within the LGBT+ community, I feel the storytelling itself is somewhat lacking. The author's intent and priority seems to be a little lost.

I love to see the different representation and how the deadname was never said! It was a bit messy and honestly very queer the way teenagers acted bc nobody knows what they’re doing, ever. Lol. Easy read for trans/enby/queer youth :)
