This is a very thought inducing book, stirring up emotions inside or you. I agree with Ezra about Felix projecting, but not just on his best friend. Looking at everything he's done up to this point it feels like he's doing it with most people. "Having to prove that he's a boy to his father" when he's admitting to himself that he's not sure about this. His judgemental thoughts on his ex girlfriend and even his enemy.

Ezra really needs to acknowledge his priveledge - there was no need to get angry at Felix for pointing it out, Felix was right. ANYWAY the fact that Felix hasn't even started his portfolio is stressing me the fuck out - reason number 5 million I could never be an art student.

I swing back and forth between liking and not liking Ezra bc he's kinda annoying sometimes. But I love Felix (Love) hahaha I love that his surname is Love.

I'm loving this but why is Ezra pirouetting to Spirit in the Sky. It just doesn't fit, I can't even picture it. (Sorry for my dancer rambles)

felix is a little obnoxious and i KNOW he struggles with his gender identity and that should be THE point of the book but i feel his whining about never been kissed at 17 in the first 3/4 of the book is ANNOYING

Wow. I wanted to reread this book to see how my reading taste holds up and has changed. I read this when I first got back into reading. I definitely am not as obsessed with this book as I think I was when I first read it. I think this will probs sit at a 3 instead of a 5. I'm loving the side characters, but Felix is very annoying and reminds me this is YA. Great writing and story though
