It seems as if the only lines that are any good in this book are the ones lifted directly from Woolf. Also the pacing is wrong. The episodic nature of the book is all off--Woolf would go on for pages and pages in an episode. Okay, one more complaint, it would seem as if the only memory Clarissa has is of Bourton. Yes, yes. It's important, but really, Clarissa has more imagination than just one moment.
