Status Updates From El corazón de las tinieblas

I’m deathly bored. Absolutely nothing is actually happening, just descriptors of people around him, of whom I do not have a single care.

Marlow arrived at his station. He sees a bunch of black people being forced to do labor, blowing up the cliffside they’re on. He comments numerous times on the horrid condition of the land around him.

The narrator in on a boat in the Thames with a small group of others. He introduces us to Marlow, who gets into his explanation of his adventures. We learn that he is hired by a company to go explore a place that he is interested in, the destination not entirely clear.
