"We are most likely to criticize the very thing we crave the most... we often criticize others for our own inadequacies." I've heard this before but for some reason, it's just sticking right now. It all finally makes sense.

Using Gone With The Wind was amazing. I use that story a lot in my life, so much so that I have a cat named Rhett Butler and another cat named Scarlett O'Hara. My Scarlett would be a Yellow - all she does is fun. My Rhett is a Blue, very concerned with cuddling and closeness.

I think it's important to read this entire book, not just the sections pertaining to your personal life. Reading about how other colors interact with each other when you aren't that color can really help with understanding.

Red relationships with other colors was a great section, being Red with strong secondary Blue myself, which Sean also is. I can really see our Red traits and where our Blue is strong. Thankfully we both have Blue's strong commitment.

This book, "The Color Code", brought out some very interesting facts that make me want to assess people differently. Especially when we have a complete different opinion on certain subjects. This is a great read and also makes you want to stop and meditate and think!

On to part 3. I'm having a lot of fun with this book and so is Sean.

I wonder if anyone is a mix of all four colors. They'd have to get 11-11-11-12 in any combination and I'm assuming that would be incredibly rare. I'm still in the middle of chapter 9 so maybe Mr. Hartman does discuss that. How interesting would that person be... and how conflicted!

It's really cool to read about the colors and identify people in my life. So far, we've got two Reds, a White and a Yellow (not including us). Secondary colors is up next!

I can see where the Blue is in us too. This is quite a fun book!

Really great chapter on Reds. I easily see how Sean and I are Reds with Blue mixed in.

Mr. Hartman clearly says that no two people are alike although they fall under the same color. He is not trying to lump everyone into four groups; he's trying to help people understand themselves and those around them. It seems a lot of people missed that part of the book. Either way, fun read so far!

Sean and I have always said we're twins. It's amazing that my husband is literally the male form of me, and I of him. We both took the test and came out equally Red/Blue with nearly identical answers without seeing each others.

Thrift store find today. Aside of cover wear, it's in beautiful condition. I really can't wait to read it, so I'm starting now!

The more I read this, I am definitely a blue.

So far, I'm a Blue-Red. It will be interesting to see what I learn! One of our profs loaned this to me last summer and I'm finally making time for it!

Read all about the RED personality. Good reminders and great research for character development! Love this book. Now off to reread about the BLUE's.

I can't put this one down, I am really enjoying this story.

How we model love for others often has a significant impact on them and their ability to love others. As we express our love, others watch us and learn.

So far I am split evenly between Blue and White. We'll see which color ends up being my core color.
