The beginning starts strong. I have a hard time getting into new books. It was easy to follow and I could actually see it. Any mentions of dead animals so far have been off the page and I really appreciate that. Also I love how mentally unhinged the main character is and we see why right away the other person we intro-ed to I can feel the villain origin story starting— excited to read more
