I stopped to read The Treasure, which ties into this book and should be read first. Pamela is such an angel; she gave me this book since I had read the first two books of this series.

I can't recommend Ms. Humphrey enough to anyone. If you like Binchy, Pilcher, Pearl S. Buck, and anyone who can tell an interesting story, you'll like PH, too.
