Start your review of The Chase

I chain read these three stories and couldn't put any of them down until I was finished. It helps to read Just A Friend before reading Finding Kate, but it's not necessary.
Finding Claire #1 - Mesmerizing! Heartbreaking! I dislike stories about kidnappings, but this one was written in a way that was beautiful and heartbreaking. The Chase by Pamela Humphrey is romantic suspense, with plenty of "troubled" romance, and a lot of suspense. Yes, there is the suspense of the romance. Will they or won't they get together? But Humphrey has added in a lot of serious suspense where the protagonist is in serious physical and psychological danger. Marisa's loyalty to friends (sometimes misguided) keeps her from finding an easy way out of the situation. But, she is difficult to really like. For the most part, it is her incredible go

I am glad to learn about Marisa & Ben after reading Finding Claire, Finding Kate & Finding Treasure. This is a more graphic story than I am used to reading so didn't enjoy it from that standpoint. It is a true to life story as there are lots of very evil people in this world that commit such acts. I received a free copy from the author. This is my voluntary opinion.
