Status Updates From The Great Dune Trilogy

Finished the first of three books (slow reading yay). So Dune is done. It was good i enjoyed it but the problem is having seen all of the movies (both the two new ones and the old one) before reading it. It did color my veiw of the book in the way of already knowing whats going to happen and, you know, having to not imagine what the characters look like on my own. The book was ALOT better then the movies though.

Lo releí después de leerlo en 2021, y lo entendí mucho más. Me gusta mucho que sea tan compleja la historia, pero el lenguaje y el ritmo es muy accesible para seguir.

I chose this book not because I knew I probably wouldn't finish within the first quarter, but because it gives me enough time and pages to reach my stamina goal. This book seemed at first glance like a long, history sort of genre, bu then when I read further, there's so much more plot to it and everything is so interesting.
