Super cute romance. Loved all the kisses, loved the sweetness and Nell finding her own way.

I like the idea when hero comes on a scene and heroine can just be herself because she does not see him as anything potential.

Right, I'm dropping this book. They don't talk like this in Regency England:

"I liked Tim and your mother, too, but they drained you dry, man."

Like wth, "*man*"?!? What is this, a Detroit suburb?! Ugh.

Christ, this is one of those "love at first sight" novels. Only 14% into this book, and already:

"She had never been fanciful but she imagined Lucifer might look like this the moment before he claimed a failing soul for his own. It would feel like this, too: hot, terrifying, all encompassing, seductive. If she leaned forward she might fall into that heat and be consumed by it, claimed and changed for ever."

WTF?!

Editing error here. The story is set in the United Kingdom, yet:

"Not in inches—they were probably of a height and the stranger certainly hadn’t her father’s massive and blustering look."

Inches?! "Centimetres" should've been used there. Not inches.

What a great read so far. Very well written and characters are well developed.

She thinks she wants another, he thinks he'll be able to walk away from her. LOL Can't wait for when they realize they are wrong.

3.5 stars. I was expecting a little more. Also the timeline was a little off for me. How does one go from being in love with someone to another in one week?🤔
