the quirky writing style worked for the 1st book but not when you do the same thing for a different (older) character. I attributed it to the first characters neurodivergence but now that its the same again its lowkey a writing style issue

This has definitely made me tear up and I am realizing now we are getting Gordo’s life story and how it went for him and becoming a witch. This is so powerful and emotional, I’m so hooked on this series ahhh.
