you know, the guys are super hot and sweet and smutty, but I don’t think that adding Don is good for them. I worry that these distractions are keeping Jim from doing what he needs to do.

Whelp, even if I don't come to like Jim very much he's absolutely breaking my heart right now with this Claw Game machine crisis...

So, I've already listened to a book this week where a character I didn't like much (wow, understatement) got completely redeemed in a sequel (Jake in Off Campus/Nothing Like Paris). By the end of the second installment I was 100% on board with the guy and his character growth.

Let's see if that luck holds for this series as well. Jim's not an easy character to care about - let alone like very much...

So far I am not connecting with these guys but it's only the beginning. Her storytelling has pulled me in on other books therefore I shall not worry.
