The beginning of my quest to read some banned books!

As of now, im not sure how to verbalise what im feeling about this book so far. I’ve felt a lot of emotions from the first 9 chapters alone, and I am relatively worried on the amount of tears that will be shed while reading this.

This is a middle grade book with a queer neurodivergent desi lead. I could not believe my eyes.

this is the second book I borrowed from my school library that is LGBTQ and I'm happy they are including books like this

Cute so far. And set in Indiana so I can relate to it :)

I'm really enjoying this one so far.

Rahul gets a walkie talkie call from his grandpa to meet him in the movie room. They watch videos of his dad singing songs. While watching the videos Rahul's grandpa notices that he is nervous about something and then tells Rahul a story about his passed grandmother which makes him feel a little bit better.

A imbarasing moment for Rhaul is he tried out for football practise but he was not alone when changing and is being timed on a stop watch but no one else is
